HISTORY

The International Society for Applied Chess is a young organization with goals and ideals for the public welfare. The organization brings together people working in all areas of so-called "Applied chess", where chess is used as a tool, e.g. for education, research, therapy, art and culture. It develops training, therapy and research standards and disseminates the achievements of applied chess in all areas of life.

It was established on October 8, 2017 in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria during the International Scientific-Applied Conference "Bio-Psycho-Social Applications of Chess".

Organization unites persons who applies the game of chess in various fields of theory and practice from Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Poland, Syria, USA.

Validation, improvement and popularization of applied chess in its bio-psycho-social dimensions

International network of specialists who elaborate educational, therapeutic, scientific-research standarts and programs; teaching life skills thorough chess and promoting the accomplishments of applied chess in all areas of life.

How to become a member of ISAC

Persons wishing to become members of the ISAC shall submit a written application to the Management Board, which shall rule within one month.

In 2017, the General Assembly decided that the membership fee should be in the amount of 5, 10 or more than 10 euros, depending on the self-determination of each of the members.

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

Privacy policy

Тhe International Society for Applied Chess processes the following personal data of its members: name, address, telephone, e-mail, as well as information about paid membership fees. Depending on the needs of the organization's activities, data on usernames in social networks, professional position and interests can be stored, as well as photos certifying your participation in public events of the organization.

The purpose of personal data processing in MPS is to compile a list of members: to be notified of events of the organization, including a general meeting, as well as to promote communication between them by participating in Facebook groups, Skype conferences and more.

Тhe personal data is processed through collection, recording, consultation, modification, organization, storage, deletion and destruction. Every 5 years, a review of the need to store the personal data is performed.

As a subject of personal data, the members of the organization have the following rights: to information, to access, to limit the volume of data, to delete, as well as the right to appeal and compensation. These rights are stated in writing to the representative of the personal data controller.

Rules for the protection of personal data have been adopted and applied in the ISAC and technical and organizational measures have been taken for their protection.
