
On July 24, 2020 in the hall of the Department of Chess at the National Sports Academy - Sofia, Bulgaria was held the second Annual General Assembly of the members of the International Society for Applied Chess.
The coronavirus pandemic and the anti-epidemic measures imposed various forms of presence of ISAC members: on the spot, with a power of attorney and online.
A report on the activities of the organization for 2019 was made. Emphasis was placed on the project of Prof. Sabine Vollstaedt-Klein, studying the impact of chess on people suffering from addictions. A financial report and a new operational plan were adopted. The Board of Directors was re-elected and a new Standards Committee was formed. The possibilities for revealing the national structures of the organization in Germany were discussed. It was proposed to hold quarterly conference calls.
